Requests can also be made online through patient access (available 24 hours)- you will need a PIN code for this (ask reception for this code) please attend in person. Patient access is for routine appointment bookings in ADVANCE only.

Please phone 0141 339 0902 to arrange a routine appointment. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday 8:45am to 6:00pm.
The receptionists will ask for a some information about your appointment request. When a GP receptionists asks you questions when you call, it is all confidential and is to help you get the right care including GP and Nurse appointments, Pharmacy 1st, Physiotherapy, NHS Inform.
PLEASE NOTE ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED FOR TRAINING AND MONITORING PURPOSES
All consultations are by appointment i.e. the practice does not offer a drop-in surgery.
We offer a range of morning and afternoon consulting sessions from 9 AM until 5 PM every day. We also have early opening on a Tuesday morning and a late night appointment on a Monday.
Extended Opening – these clinics operate on Mondays up to 6.15 pm and Tuesdays starting at 7.30 am for those who are working and cannot attend the Doctor during normal hours.
Urgent Problems
Please explain to the receptionist as fully as possible the nature of the problem – we aim to see any genuinely urgent case on the same day.
An ill child will almost always be seen on the same day.
In An Emergency
This includes sudden onset of chest pain, breathlessness, collapse, or severe bleeding. In this event call immediately 999.
Telephone Appointments
We also offer the choice of a pre-booked phone appointment with the doctor. This can often be a convenient and time-saving alternative to attending the surgery. Please ask at reception for further information.
Cancelled Appointments
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice, in good time, that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can also cancel an appointment if you have received a text with you appointment date and time. There will be an option on the text to do this. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays).
If you are Late
Please attend your appointment on time. If you are late you may not be seen.
Interpreter
If you require an interpreter the Doctor can arrange this for you using Language Line, this is a telephone consultation line that both GP and patient can use.
Private Medical Examinations
Medical examinations for special purposes such as pre-employment, fitness to travel, elderly drivers, fitness to undertake sports etc, will require longer than a routine appointment.
These examinations do not form part of NHS Services, you will be charged for any such examination. Please check the fee chargeable when you require to arrange any such examination.
Request for GP Letters/Completion of Forms
If your Doctor has agreed to write a letter for you in connection with your employment, acting as a referee, or for some other specific area, you will be charged for this letter. Please allow at least 5 working days before collecting your letter, if you require this letter urgently please inform your Doctor during your consultation. If you wish your Doctor to complete a form/report for you, there will also be a charge for this, please allow 48 hours before uplifting your form.
The reception staff will advise you of any applicable charges.
